What you need to know

 

 

1. Q.    What should I do if I have a water leak?

    A.    Locate the stop cock where your water supply comes into your home. Turn

            the water off and call us on 01228 544452

 

2. Q.    What should I do if I can smell gas?

    A.    DO NOT SWITCH LIGHTS ON! Call the emergency gas service on 0800

            111 999

 

3. Q.    What should I do if I have loose tiles on my roof?

    A.    Loose tiles on their own are not a problem, but if you can see a hole then

            when it rains you are going to have water damage problems. Call us now

            on 01228 544452 and get the problem repaired

 

4. Q.    There has just been a big storm. What do I need to do?

    A.    Go round your home and check the windows, the roof and garden for any

            damage. If your house is not weather proof you will need to get some

            repairs done to sort the damage

 

5. Q.    I have just had an accident in the house. How do I claim for the repairs on

            my insurance?

A.         Call us now on 01228 544452 as we can submit all the claim forms for you, undertake any estimates and complete the repairs

 

6. Q.    I can see damp on my walls and the wall paper is starting to drop off?

    A.    This problem will require specialist attention in order to prevent further

            damp entering your house. You may just have a blocked drain or down

            pipe which we will be able to investigate and carry out any repairs. If

            damp proofing is needed then we can advise you on specialist companies        

            to undertake this work.
 

7. Q.    I need my room re-decorating. Can I choose and buy the paint and

            wallpaper?

A.         Yes. However it is often easier to choose your paint colours and wallpaper

then leave the rest to us.

 

8. Q.    Every time it rains my garden and patio floods?

    A.    Your house may have blocked drains or you may need to install new

            drainage tiles to allow the water to drain away faster. Your patio may have

            subsided and will need to be re-levelled with the correct fall for water

drainage. Call us on 01228 544452 and we can assess the extent of the work required for your home and garden.
